David Meritt, Center for Health Transformation, will discuss the themes of his award winning book – Paper Kills.
National HIMSS awarded David Merritt with the “Book of the Year Award” for its outstanding practical guidance and strategic insight for healthcare information and management systems professionals.
All conference attendees will receive a free copy of the book.
David is a project director at the Center for Health Transformation and the Gingrich Group. The Center, headed by former Speaker Newt Gingrich, is a collaboration of leaders dedicated to transforming health and healthcare in America. David advises Speaker Gingrich and leads the Center’s projects on health information technology and expanding coverage to the uninsured, with additional work in Medicare, consumerism, and transparency.
Edited by David Merritt and featuring an introduction by former U.S. House Speaker and CHT Founder Newt Gingrich, "Paper Kills" addresses the most pressing issues in the drive to modernize and improve healthcare through health information technology.
